FAQs
What is Arc XP?

Arc XP is a media platform built inside The Washington Post. It includes a CMS, AI tools, and audience and monetization products. Publishers run on the full platform or add single products to the systems they already use.

Is Arc XP a CMS?

Arc XP includes a CMS built for media, but the CMS is one part. It also includes AI, audience, and monetization tools, plus standalone products (Arc XP Compass, Ask The Source) that work with any CMS.

Can I use Arc XP without replacing my current CMS?

Yes. We’ve added and will continue to add platform-agnostic products such as Arc XP Compass and Ask The Source that run alongside your current CMS. No migration required.

How is Arc XP priced?

You pay for what you use: a single product or the full platform. Visit the pricing page to learn more.

Who uses Arc XP? Is it only for big newsrooms?

No. More than 3,000 media properties run on Arc XP globally and regionally, including news publishers, broadcast station groups, digital-native brands, and B2B trade publishers such as Sky News, The Minnesota Star Tribune, Graham Media Group, and L'Express.

Does Arc XP's AI publish content on its own?

No. Arc XP's AI handles tagging, translation, and structuring. Editors make every publishing decision.

How long does a migration to Arc XP take?

A full CMS migration typically takes 3 to 6 months, depending on content volume and integrations. We'll give you a range for yours on the first call and introduce you to publishers who've made the same move.
